DA stages sit-in at Emfuleni Municipality over Moscow settlement sanitation crisis

The Democratic Alliance has conducted a sit-in protest at Emfuleni Local Municipality offices, demanding immediate intervention and provision of chemical toilets for Moscow informal settlement residents who have been without proper sanitation for over a decade. The municipality claims the land is privately owned and awaits provincial government response, while residents describe deteriorating health conditions due to inadequate facilities.
