How to add a Life event on Facebook
* At the top of your Timeline, select Life event and type in the details you want to share, just as if you were writing a status.
*Life events are the best way to share memorable life experiences because they are more than just status updates. They have a different visual appearance and generally get more interaction from friends than status updates.
*You can share all of the details of your big news by tagging friends, selecting a date for the story and even adding an activity or location.
Photos on mobile
Facebookallows you to share your memories and experiences directly from mobile.
How to make a photo album on mobile:
*Click the “more” button in the bottom bar of the mobile app and select “photos” from the list you get. “Photos” is located under
“apps”. From here select “Albums” to create a new album and upload photos.
*Choose to give your album a title, caption, and choose which audience you want to share it with.
How to share a photo instantly on mobile:
*Once you have open the Facebook mobile app, click the 'photo' button on the top menu bar.
*Choose which photo you would like to upload, add a description, set a location and choose which audience to share it with. The photo will be instantly added to your timeline.
Shared Albums
Facebook Shared Albums allows you to share and swap photos with those you care about the most. Whether you just got back from a coastal holiday with the family or had a great end-of-year party with some friends, everyone who took photos can now add their pictures into one album on Facebook by creating a Shared Album. You can have up to 50 people contribute and up to 200 pictures for on shared album. Shared albums are a great way to prevent any unwanted photos being made public. By setting the album privacy settings to contributors only, everybody can approve their photos before changing the privacy settings, so that others can enjoy the photos too.
Tips for editing photos
To access the photo editing tools, click the magic wand icon in the lower left hand corner of the photo you're posting. From there, you'll see options for adding filters, sticker or text to your photos. As well as other tools including cropping and tagging.You can add different filters to your photo by tapping on the Filters icon. If you want to quickly add a filter, you can swipe left or right after you select your photo. You can make your photos more fun by adding stickers. Try out the Summer Vacation sticker pack to show your friends what you're up to during the break. Tap the Stickers icon to see the available stickers.Select the plus symbol to download new sticker packs, all of which are free. You can also add text on top of your photos by clicking on the Text icon. You can change the size, position and colour of the text before a photo is posted, placing it anywhere over the picture.
