Johannesburg - The Kedar Heritage Lodge, Conference Centre & Spa offers visitors and conference delegates an escape from the hectic pace of modern living.

Situated in North West, just 21km from Sun City, Kedar is built on a portion of Boekenhoutfontein, the historic farm that once belonged to President Paul Kruger.

The land around Kedar is enclosed in a game fence and is populated with a wide variety of game, including eland, blesbok, impala, bushbuck, nyala, kudu, zebra, blue wildebeest, giraffe, sable and the endangered pygmy hippo - making it a dream destination for nature lovers.

Kedar is also the ideal venue for functions, weddings and conferences, and can cater for up to 100 guests.

Accommodation is offered in 65 African-themed stone and thatched rooms and suites, all decorated with vibrant hand-painted ethnic print fabrics and African artworks, reflecting all the treasures Africa has to offer.

Facilities include the Paul Kruger Country House Museum, the Kedar Spa in the Country, three themed restaurants, a large swimming pool, private game drives, and numerous memorials.
