Johannesburg - Clico Boutique Hotel is celebrating its eighth year as a successful small hotel and fine-dining venue as well as a conference and events destination.

The hotel is offering a scrumptious weekend lunch and a special overnight package.

The spring Saturday or Sunday four-course lunch menu at Clico for R365 a person (excluding wine-pairing and beverages) includes delectable dishes such as:

l Bacon, quail egg and golden kiwi, radish and pine kernel spring salad, drizzled with a nectarine vinaigrette.

l Beetroot-cured Scottish salmon, wasabi mayo, pickled fennel and citrus soil accompanied by poached baby apple.

l Slow confit duck leg, foie gras and chicken terrine, zesty pomme purée, springroll and sautéed brown and white shimeji mushrooms with an apricot jus.

l Mixed-fruit mini pavlova served with home-made lemon meringue ice cream and berry coulis.

Meals can be booked with a weekend overnight stay at R2 500 a night per couple. Beverages are excluded. The rate includes a night in a double en suite room, full breakfast and the above menu for two guests and lunch, either on arrival or departure day.
