Al Falaah College attained a 100% Bachelor pass rate for the 2024 matric examinations. To add to their joy Abdullah Abisola was placed third among all independent schools in KwaZulu-Natal.

Abdullah, who has been a student at Al Falaah College since preschool, was recently honoured at the ICC in Durban for his results by the KZN Department of Education.

“It was humbling and inspiring to be recognised on such a grand platform. My journey at Al Falaah College has been pivotal in shaping my academic success, and the values instilled in me by the school and my faith have guided me every step of the way,” said Abdullah.

In 2022, the school produced the top matriculant in South Africa, along with the first and third-ranked learners in KZN among independent schools.  A year later, it produced the pupil ranked second among all matriculants in the province.

Since its establishment in 1987, Al Falaah College has maintained a 100% matric pass rate for 39 consecutive years. The Class of 2024 continued this tradition with 27% of matriculants achieving a distinction aggregate and an average of 2.8 distinctions per pupil. Additionally, every matriculant passed every subject.

Zaffar Ahmed, the principal, said: “These results are a reflection of the dedication, hard work, and collective effort of our learners, educators, and parents. At Al Falaah College, we strive not only for academic excellence but also for the holistic development of our pupils, grounded in strong Islamic values. We congratulate Abdullah Abisola and the Class of 2024 on their phenomenal achievements.”
