Award-winning creative powerhouse Kutloano Nhlapo, widely known as Da Kruk, has achieved yet another remarkable milestone in his illustrious career by winning a prestigious Forty Under 40 South Africa award.

Nhlapo emerged victorious amidst a stellar line-up of industry heavyweights in the Journalism – Radio, TV & Newspaper category.

The Forty Under 40 South Africa initiative aims to spotlight emerging leaders under the age of 40, celebrating their influence and accomplishments across various industries.

This initiative recognises individuals committed to professional excellence, community service, and swift ascension through their respective ranks.

The awards serve not just as recognition for individual achievements, but also as inspiration for a generation yearning to make their mark.

Known for his multifaceted contributions to the entertainment landscape, he is not only an award-winning touring DJ and radio host but also a dedicated music and content producer.

His relentless pursuit of excellence has established him as a prominent figure in both local and international urban culture.

With each new venture, Da Kruk solidifies his reputation as a vital influencer in a rapidly evolving industry.

Speaking about this milestone, he said he hopes his win inspires others to keep hustling.

“Being awarded for your hard work never goes out of fashion,” expressed a jubilant Kutloano after receiving the prestigious recognition. “I am still so elated from receiving this award and proving to myself that I can always bet on me. Nhlapo, who is a graduate with a Certificate in Supply Chain Management from the University of Cape Town in 2023, is setting his sights even higher.

It is revealed that he is poised to further his education in the Business of Entertainment, Media & Sports at Harvard University’s Business School in 2025.

His continual thirst for knowledge signals a commitment not only to personal growth but to enriching the broader South African entertainment sector.
