Chris Brown, the internationally acclaimed R&B artist, has announced his eagerly awaited return to South Africa after almost 10 years, assuring fans a memorable evening laden with breathtaking performances from his famous music repertoire.

Presented by Big Concerts and Y, the Live in Johannesburg, Breezy in South Africa concert, will take place at the iconic FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday, December 14.

The American star sent social media into a frenzy when he announced that he was coming to South Africa, and has been trending since.

Brown took to Instagram and said: “South Africa, I’m coming.”

He will perform in South Africa for the first time in nearly a decade, following his 2015 visit and live performance at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg.

Moreover, he made a brief appearance in the hit South African series “Generations”, something that drew him closer to his fans.

In addition to collaborating with African musicians like Tyla, Brown recently complimented KwaZulu-Natal musician Naledi Aphiwe on his most recent album, “11:11”.

He also has a number of well-known songs to his credit, including “With You”, “Under The Influence”, “Angel Numbers/Ten Toes”, “No One Else”, “Look At Me Now”, “How We Roll”, and “Go Crazy”.

Tickets for his show will be available starting with an invite-only pre-sale from 10am on Tuesday, October 1. The general ticket sale opens at 10am, Thursday, October 3. Tickets are only available from Ticketmaster.

Fans refrain from purchasing tickets from Viagogo and other third-party websites. Organisers say that these are not valid tickets; they are being illegally resold for profit at prices higher than their face value by dishonest vendors. and warned, “You won’t be able to enter the venue if you purchase these tickets, and you won't be eligible for a refund.”

Up to eight tickets per fan may be purchased using only verified Ticketmaster accounts. All tickets will be exclusively available for purchase on mobile devices.

Ticket Transfer will only be available 30 days before the event, and mobile ticket barcodes will be suppressed until three days before the event.
