Amapiano star Uncle Waffles has been the talk of town following the announcement of her Toronto show.
The eSwatini-born star who has been doing international shows took to social media to announce that she’ll be performing in Toronto, Canada, on August 1.
For the poster picture, the “Wadibusa” hitmaker channelled the “uncle” in her and recreated Drake’s “For All The Dogs” album cover.
Many people were wondering who managed to achieve a seamless look on her beard and it’s none other than Patrick Missile, a Congolese wig maker.
Casually known as Pat, Missile, the owner of Pat Perfect Beauty Palace, is a celebrity hairstylist who makes wigs for women and men.
The Joburg-based stylist known for making wigs for the likes of Bonang Matheba, Kelly Khumalo and Blue Mbombo, is not limited to wigs and does everything pertaining to hair extensions.
“As a wig designer, I design wigs from scratch. Anything regarding hair I design. I design beards, eyebrows, moustaches, all those things,” he said during an interview with IOL Lifestyle in 2017.
With almost 20 years in the game, Missile has become a pro at making hair extensions that look natural.
When he introduced male weaves around 2017, the likes of Sello Maake KaNcube and K.O supported him before the trend went viral.
“My dream is not only here at salons, but to go as far as to create looks people have never seen before. I now depend on clients’ requests. If a client comes in and says ‘Patrick I want my eyebrows to look like those of Chinese’, I make it happen,” he said.
And his work speaks for itself, judging from how well Waffles’ beard came out – even Drake was impressed and said he’d attend the show.
Waffles’ fans are fired up by her creativity and wished her well on the upcoming show.
