Launching a collection the traditional way on the runway can be boring. That is why most designers create a film or a dramatic scene to launch their collections.
Popular streetwear brand Diesel staged a wedding to launch its Fall/Winter 2024 collection.
Titled Til D Do Us Part, this collection is envisioned as an ironic twist on a traditional wedding and celebrates all kinds of creativity, from the photography and designs to the model who poses as a modern-day fashion-forward bride.
Author and model Christine Quinn, who stars in the campaign, is seen having a blast with her bridesmaids in the changing room as they get ready.
All her wedding guests are dripping in denim, as per the theme, and she joins the ceremony in a showstopper denim dress and a light-blue veil.
After the “I dos”, the party continue with casual looks, including the new peel-off denim, defined by minimalistic, utility-driven silhouettes and Diesel library denim.
The detailing on statement pieces includes bonded and lasered denim panels, which appear on jackets, skirts and jeans, while the attached fronts run throughout the collection, even on tailoring.
Also part of this campaign is trendy accessories such as the newest versions of the 1DR and the new glossy play bag featuring juicy photoreal mouth prints, vert watches, the silver jewellery collection and sunglasses in collaboration with Essilor Luxottica.
“From this day forward, the Diesel Fall Winter 2024 collection commits to making you look and feel like yourself, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, till Diesel do us part,” read the statement from the brand.
