South African export Tyla is in Tokyo, where she has fans eating out of her hand.
The Grammy Award-winning artist recently performed in Japan for the first time at the 2024 edition of the Summer Sonic Osaka music festival.
Other popular artists who performed during the two day festival include Christina Aguilera, One Republic, Major Lazer and Apes.
Tyla was making the most of her time there by hosting meet and greet pop-ups, which her “Japanese Tygers” are taking full advantage of.
During a short interview online, the “Water” hitmaker said: “It’s so fun, everybody was screaming, the energy was fire! I am definitely going to come back.
She added that she loved Tokyo “so much”.
“The people are so kind, sweet and respectful ... A few supporters got tattoos of my signature which was insane, so yeah, I’m definitely coming back.
“My favourite thing to eat here is sushi.”

The global superstar also shared a video clip of one of her explosive performances on Instagram.
In the video, thousands of energetic fans can be heard screaming out her name.
One fan even held up a sign board saying: “I would sell my brother for you”.
