South African musician Oscar Mbo, real name Oscar Ndlovu, is in his winning season. From his career to love life, everything is in his favour.
Shortly after launching his collection with Steve Madden, where he made history as the first male artist to partner with the brand, Ndlovu jetted to the United States of America for his tour, where he performed at the Piano Fest at Kings and Queens in Atlanta, followed by another performance in Houston Decorumhouston, Dallas 77DTX and Uncle Waffles’ We Love Waffles concert at the Brooklyn Mirage in New York.
Since he’s in the city, he also visited Jay Z’s office. The producer was given a full tour of the Roc Nation’s headquarters to experience Jay’s private space, including seeing his archived caps, wall of fame, where he keeps photographs of his loved ones and some of his plaques.
This one-of-a-kind experience meant a lot to Ndlovu, not because he has partnered with D'ussé, a cognac brand owned by Jay Z but because Carter is a music legend and many artists, including Ndlovu, look up to him.
And having Jay Z’s photographer, Lenny Santiago, capture his moments was a cherry on top.
“I dunno [don’t know] man. Imagine spending a day in Shawn Carter’s office & getting pictures taken by @kodaklens in the legendary @kodaklensoffice. God is fair,” wrote Ndlovu.
Many of his followers congratulated him on his wins.
