Nadia Nakai’s Instagram feed just got a lot more interesting and, no, it’s not more baddie posts.

The rapper recently took to Instagram to post a video where she offers her fans and followers some sound advice on overthinking and the effect it can have our mental health.

In the video, she said: “Overthinking when you think someone has a certain opinion of you and they haven’t blatantly told you what that opinion is ... When somebody makes you feel bad about your behaviour in the club, drinking, acting out of character when you’re under the influence.

“Forgive yourself, you allowed to make mistakes, you allowed to act out of character, you’re human, you’re not a robot, don’t beat yourself up with the words that you are telling yourself.”

She continued to say that the mind is a muscle and can be trained with words.

"Don’t let those words weigh you down in a way that is damaging to your self-confidence, damaging to your self-love.

“Love yourself, even in those places or in those times that you feel you were doing less than what you would have done sober-minded. It’s okay. Don’t kill yourself the next day.”

She added that the people who “know and love you, will love you through it.”

“People that make you feel bad about the decisions you made are the people you just adjust your vision to ... So stop the overthinking, it’s not needed.”

She admitted that the idea of creating wellness content stemmed from her social media deep-dive sessions and urge to share her opinions on these videos.

“I felt like I am always on my reels and I’m deep diving, and I’m like oh my God, that makes so much sense ... I have an opinion to... new content idea ...

“I’m going to do more, I’ll be talking about issues with family, friend, these ni**gs out here thinking that you wanna date em, when you actually hate em, sh** like that. I’ve got more videos coming. I’ve already shot them.”
