Talented South African actor Mduduzi Mabaso has returned to e.tv to join the popular fashion drama, “House Of Zwide”.
Mabaso, who plays Msizi, Faith Zwide’s younger brother, made his debut on Tuesday, August 20. Msizi is an ex-convict, who is back in town to retrieve the money he had stashed years ago before going to jail.
While he is expected to turn Faith’s life upside down by opening up old wounds and revealing family secrets, Msizi will play a key role in shaping the future of the House of Zwide brand.
Mabaso’s fans last saw him on e.tv in “Rhythm City”, which ended three years ago, and are happy to see him back in the same slot.
“I've Always loved Mduduzi Mabaso. I loved his pure craft in ‘Rhythm City’ as Suffocate Msafofo’. He swept all the dirt in the way of his character! (Dankie). Now, decades down the road, I can't help feasting my gorgeous eyes on his new role,” said Jabulile Given Mnguni.
Fans of the show are also happy that after Funani’s departure, there is someone who will add more zest to the Zwide family and Msizi will do so by investing some money in the family business. But what’s in it for him?
People like him don’t just do favours unless there’s something beneficial for them. Can Msizi keep his criminal past hidden while helping to steer the House of Zwide towards a prosperous future?
