Donald Glover has released the final album under his Childish Gambino imprint.

The renowned star, who goes by his stage name in the music world, released his sixth studio album, “Bando Stone and The New World”, on Friday, July 19.

Ahead of its release, he rolled out new single “In The Night (feat. Jorja Smith & Amaarae),” self-produced in collaboration with Dahi (who has worked with Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole) as well as Kurtis McKenzie (who worked with Doja Cat).

The 17-track LP kicks off with the Amaarae co-penned “Hearts Are Meant To Fly”, which is a roaring glitchy and twisty electro hip hop cut.

He then delves into the moody psych-fun single “Lithonia”. Written by Gambino, the single evolves into a full-on operatic rock anthem.

The artist then flexes his melodious vocals on the single “Survive”, before the album flows into the ethereal lullabic and guitar-laden “Steps Beach”, which features the Grammy-winning recording artists Steve Lacy and Fousheé.

The latter later also collaborated with him on the alt-punk pop “Running Around” before Gambino shifts to display his lyrical prowess in the Flo Milli-assisted “Talk My Shit”.

Meanwhile, “Dadvocate” highlights his reverence for blues, folk and even country, while “Got To Be” and “Real Love” blend electro-pop, dance and rap.

Other songs featured on the album include “Yoshinoya”, “Cruisin’”, which features Yeat, as well as the Max Martin produced anthem “A Place Where Love Goes”, which melds the album’s sonic diversity all into one.

Gambino started teasing his new album at the 2024 BET Awards, which were held in Los Angeles at the end of June.

He also opened the “Lifetime Achievement Tribute” for Usher with a show-stopping performance of “U Don’t Have To Call.”

Gambino is also set to kick off his tour of the US, Europe as well as Australia and New Zealand, in August.

The artist is also renowned for his acting, having starred in the Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning series “Atlanta”, which he created and occasionally directed.

He also featured in Hollywood blockbuster’s such as “Magic Mike XXL”, “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, and was the voice of adult Simba in the 2019 “The Lion King”.
