Kaizer Chiefs supporters have praised the Soweto giants after their convincing 3-1 victory over AmaZulu at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Wednesday evening.

First-half goals from Ranga Chivaviro, Gaston Sirino and Ignacio Miguel ensured that Amakhosi walked away with all three points, despite a second-half charge from Usuthu, who tried by all means to get back in the game.

This was the ‘Phefeni Glamour Boy's’ second win in the Betway Premiership after they beat a stubborn Marumo Gallants side at the Toyota Stadium in their opening last Saturday.

The win over AmaZulu also saw Chief's climb to third in the league table behind defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns and arch-rival Orlando Pirates.

Despite the 100% record head coach Nasreddine Nabi emphasised the need for the Amakhosi faithful not to get carried away.

However, despite the plea from the coach, fans took to X and showered the Soweto giants with praise with some even claiming Chief's will win the league.

High on Amakhosi’s win on Wednesday @KgaboSetlau said South African football was nothing without the Kaizer Chiefs.

“South African football is nothing without Kaizer Chiefs” he posted.

While @alexsithole said Chiefs was was good for South Africa and will do what the ANC could not do in 30 years.

“This is beyond football, this is about healing the nation, this is about repo rate, petrol price, food price, the economy. Kaizer Chiefs is here to do what the ANC couldn’t do in 30 years. We are not worthy”

@ZunguThandanan3 said Kaizer Chiefs has already won the league.

“Kaizer Chiefs already won this league long time ago, these are just highlights”

Meanwhile @ChartistxArtist said Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi was cooking a hot Kaizer Chiefs.

“Nabi Cooking Hot sauced Kaizer Chiefs,” he said.
