As Magesi FC prepare to face Orlando Pirates in the Carling Knockout Cup on Saturday, goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze says everybody wants to play against the Soweto giants.
Speaking to the media, Chipezeze said they don’t need any motivation heading to the crucial encounter, adding that they were looking forward to playing against the Buccaneers.

“It’s game that is a motivation on its own you know because everyone want to play against Orlando Pirates, so we are are excited and we’re looking forward to the game,” Chipezeze.
The shotstopper added that they draw inspiration from Stellenbosch, who won the competition last season by defeating TS Galaxy at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. He emphasised that they will work hard to secure a victory in their upcoming match.
“We are inspired by that, because if you see teams like Stellenbosch going all the way and win it.
“So in the back of our minds, we’re like we can do so too but you can’t just swim for the top, we need to work for it and at the end of day we have to go out there and put in the work because that’s the most important thing but like I said it’s an exciting fixture,” Chipezeze added.
However, it will not be an easy game for Magesi against the high flying Buccaneers who have just recently made history as the first team to win the MTN 8 title in a row.
