AmaZulu head coach Pablo Franco says there was no difference between his side and Kaizer Chiefs despite suffering a 3-1 loss at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Wednesday.

The Soweto giants were ruthless in the first half as they scored three quick goals to put the game beyond AmaZulu, who despite their best effort in the second, could not get back in the game.

Martin's AmaZulu are yet to win a match in the new season after losing against Polokwane City in their opening game last Saturday.

Speaking after the game, the Spanish tactician pointed out that there was no difference between the two sides in terms of in terms of playing football.

“I don’t think in terms of football there was too much difference between the two teams.

“Or in terms of what we created or what we tried to based on our strengths, they were much sharper, they were stronger in those situations and they were much more clinical.

“And football is about that if the first half they have two chances and a half and they are scoring three goals and we have three chances and we score zero in the second half.”

AmaZulu are currently in 15th place in the league table and will take on Marumo Gallants in their next encounter on Saturday.
