In honour of Women's Month, The Laser Beautique, a provider of what it describes as “permanent and virtually pain-free hair removal” and advanced skincare treatments, is shining a spotlight on the women leading the expansion.

The organisation highlights the roles that women play in fostering innovation, growth, and excellence in the beauty and skincare sector, reaffirming its commitment to supporting women in business.

At the heart of this inspiring journey is Tzvia Hermann, co-founder of The Laser Beautique, who leads the marketing department with a vision honed over 25 years in marketing, design, beauty, and customer experience.

Rivki Joffe, the newly appointed head of design, works closely with Tzvia to create a brand identity that resonates with clients and sets new standards in the beauty and skincare industry.

Cecilia Grobler, head of franchising at the company, has been bringing extensive experience from Dermalogica SA and UK to the team since January. Her strategic planning and management skills are driving the franchise expansion, proving that women can lead with strength and grace.

Kirsten Hay, head of operations, prioritises operational excellence and profitability, emphasising the crucial role of women in sustaining successful enterprises and ensuring every aspect meets the highest standards.

Niquelene Knoetze, head of training, upholds company standards with international experience and human resources expertise, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Each branch of the company is led by a culture-driven branch leader who exemplifies servant leadership. These leaders empower their therapists, who in turn provide quality service to clients.

Tzvias says her dream is to see The Laser Beautique become a household name by mentoring and uplifting women, enabling them to grow from therapists to managers and eventually franchise owners.

Behind these women are two emancipated men, whose support and guidance they say are indispensable.

Neil Hermann, co-owner and finance department head, combines entrepreneurial expertise and financial acumen to scale the business, emphasizing the importance of collaboration for success.

The founder of Sorbet, Ian Fuhr, sets high standards for the team and leads the business to success while demonstrating how men can support women’s success and empower them.
