However, any franchise option can be negotiated separately by the new lessee, says Tanya Jovanovski, regional franchisee of Rawson’s. Jovanovski says:

The lease will be auctioned at Rawson’s head office at 222 Main Road, Rondebosch, if lockdown regulations allow it, and there will be no registration fee.
If not, the disposal will take place with bidders having three other options to acquire the lease: by telephone bidding, online bidding via registration on www.instantproperty. co.za or submitting pre-auction offers. All these will be offered and coordinated by Rawson’s,” says Jovanovski.
