Paarl is in the auction spotlight with three important sales planned by different auction houses over the next few weeks.
Aucor Property’s Durban office will on Thursday auction vacant industrial property in Paarl. The 1458m² plot at 5 Hermitage Street in Klippiesdal to be sold on site has as important improvements a large double-storey structure with three cold rooms, nine offices, a storage area, and yard space.
It was previously occupied by a chicken wholesaler. For more details, call 0837910004 or email justin@aucor.com.
Then in a business rescue auction on March 24 at 11.15am, a 42ha chicken farm with abundant water supply will come under the Michael James Organisation hammer on site in Slent Road in Paarl Rural.
Homesteads with four and five bedrooms and 11 cottages as well as chicken battery cages for up to 155000 birds are included in the sale.
There are two concrete dams on site and all movables will be included in this sale for which Paula Voges - on 0218517007 or email paula@michaeljames.co.za - has more details.
Finally, on April 22 at 11am, Home and Hectare will auction the liquidated Braemar Lifestyle Wine Farm on site on the outskirts of Paarl on the R45 main road between Paarl and Wellington.
A total of 16.8ha of the 20.8ha farm is under vines producing popular cultivars, and the farm is also home to an olive orchard.
A major improvement on the site is an attractive four-bedroom homestead. The farm is to be sold as a going concern with all implements included.
