A new documentary about OJ Simpson claims that the former football star raped and assaulted his wife, then cheated on her because she put on weight during her pregnancy. He also allegedly spied on her having sex with another man.
Titled OJ: Made in America, the documentary relies on eye-witness accounts from the late Nicole Simpson-Brown’s closest friend, as well as her lover. The most explosive piece of evidence, however, comes from Simpson-Brown’s diary, in which she details the horrific abuse she suffered at the hands of OJ.
“OJ threw me against walls in our hotel and on the floor. Put bruises on my arms and back,” is how she describes on incident where OJ lost his temper because she allowed a gay man to sit next to their son Justin.
Another extract simply read: “Hit me while we f***ed”.
According to Robin Greer, a friend of the couple, Simpson-Brown told her the painful secrets behind their seemingly fairytale existence. Not that she was under any illusions. OJ, who made no secret of his affairs, also made advances towards her.
“He cornered me a couple of times and tried to make sexual, you know, advances, and I kind of pushed him off,” said Greer.
“I think OJ felt entitled to anything OJ wanted, and I think that he really needed that adulation from other women.”
She claims OJ’s wife knew about his other women.
“[Nicole] knew he had affairs and it drove her crazy. Most of their big fights were about his affairs with other women,. He was pretty darn brazen. He blamed his affair with Tawny Kitaen on the fact that Nicole got fat when she was pregnant and he didn't want to have sex with her.
“Something as superficial and as cold as that.”
When the couple temporarily split up, Simpson-Brown started dating restauranteur Keith Zlomsowitch.
Zlomsowitch claims that he was confronted by a very angry OJ after a night of passion with Simpson-Brown, claiming “... the next day he came over and pushed in the back door and confronted both of us, but he wanted to talk to her alone."
“She was trembling standing next to me, holding my hand shaking, and she said, ‘Keith, I think you need to leave me alone with him for a couple of minutes’.
When Simpson-Brown returned, “She was white as a ghost,” said Zlomsowitch.
“And she turned to me and said: ‘Oh my God Keith, he watched us’.”
