Member of Parliament and IFP YB (Youth Brigade) national chairperson, Sanele Zondo, on Monday made a public plea for assistance in locating his missing wife, Simenyiwe MaDlomo Zondo.
The last known contact with Simenyiwe was at about 11am on August 16, leaving her family and loved ones deeply concerned about her whereabouts.
“The last time I spoke to Simenyiwe was at around 11am on August 16 when she informed me that she was heading to Richard’s Bay for shopping. I was not at home when my wife left, so I am unable to provide a description of what she was wearing at the time,” he said.
“Since that conversation, I have been unable to contact her. I have since received alarming, coded messages that have caused me great concern for her safety,” said Zondo.
The Zondo and Dlomo families, concerned about the well-being of Simenyiwe, are appealing to the public for their assistance in locating her.
They urge anyone who may have any information regarding her whereabouts to promptly contact local authorities or the family directly.
The families emphasised the importance of every piece of information, as even the smallest detail could prove crucial in bringing Simenyiwe home.
“Her family and I are heartbroken and we are asking the community to help us in any way possible. We are desperate for any information that could lead us to Simenyiwe.
“The Zondo and Dlomo families are working closely with law enforcement and relevant government structures to ensure that all necessary measures are being taken to locate Simenyiwe.”
“I cannot express how important it is for us to find her. If you have seen her or have any information, please contact the local authorities or reach out to us directly. Please contact us: 082 659 9870 (Sanele Zondo) and 083 929 5499 (Dlomo Family),” said Zondo.
