Heritage Day is set to be a spectacular celebration of South African culture at Mojo Market which will transform into a vibrant hub of African music, delicious food and colourful drinks which all offer a true taste of the country’s rich heritage.
The festivities will kick off with Justin Zulu, who will perform from 1pm to 3pm. A prominent figure in South Africa's music scene, he is renowned for his unique blend of traditional Afro-soul and contemporary rhythms.
Marimba Vibrations will then take the stage from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. This ensemble is celebrated for its vibrant marimba melodies and rhythmic versatility, offering a high-energy performance that combines traditional marimba tunes with modern influences.
Ashweeta, a popular band from Cape Town, will perform from 6pm to 8pm. Their music is celebrated for its dynamic range and lyrical depth, making them a stand-out act in the local music scene. Mmino will then close the event from 8pm to 10pm. Their high-energy Afrobeats performances blend traditional South African sounds with modern influences.
Mojo Market is renowned for its eclectic mix of artisanal stalls, gourmet food, and vibrant atmosphere. On Heritage Day, it offers more than just a celebration but a journey through the heart of South Africa.
The market features diverse food options, from mouth-watering local dishes to international delicacies, catering to every palate.

This historic agricultural show in the Cape Winelands region is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year.
Known as the second-largest open-air horse show in the country, the event features a five-day programme showcasing over 400 horses.
This includes the prestigious WP Saalperd, the WP Swart Trekperd and the SA Ryperd Championships.
The Lenteskou has evolved from its agricultural roots and now offers a wide range of activities for families, including Boer goat exhibitions, craft stalls, food vendors and children’s entertainment.
It also features live music events and wine tastings from the surrounding valley.
This year's show will also include a make-up masterclass by Willem Botha and promises to be a blend of rich heritage and modern attractions.
