“Big Brother Mzansi" season 5 has been living up to its theme, “Umlilo” (fire). Indeed, the show has been consistently bringing the heat.

Every contestant who has stepped into the house has added fuel to the flames, some more than others.

But, regardless of their approach, they have all brought controversy, drama, and unforgettable moments that have left fans eagerly anticipating more. True to its reputation as a provocative and unpredictable show, “Big Brother Mzansi" has been delivering all the excitement and tension that viewers have come to expect.

As all roads lead to the finale, Sunday night's eviction episode marked the beginning of the end for the fifth season. With only a week left before the grand finale, the pressure is on as the top 5 contestants compete for the 2 million grand prize money.

The latest eviction saw Abobo, Siphesihle, and Mshini bid farewell to the “Big Brother” house, leaving Nsuku, Nate, Jojo, Sweet Guluva, and Uyanda to battle it out for the number one spot.

The voting process for this round was as intense as ever, with fans rallying behind their favourite housemates.

While the other two evictions were predictable due to how fans have been voting, most viewers were shocked by the eviction of one housemate, Mshini, who they assumed would be in the top five competing for the top spot.

As the remaining housemates prepare for the final stretch, they are aware that every move counts, as the host Smash Afrika advised them to let their flames shine brighter than ever before to play the game one last time.

Alliances and friendships will be tested this week, and strategies will be put to the ultimate test. The viewers will get to see who will take home the grand prize.

The top 5 contestants have proven themselves to be strong players, each surviving every week they were nominated and each possessing unique strengths and weaknesses. With the finale just around the corner, Mshini’s eviction proved that it could be anyone’s game.

Will it be Nsuku, the outspoken and confident one; Nate, the strategic player; Sweet Guluva, the fan favourite; Uyanda, the teacher who stands up to bullying; or Jojo, the underdog, who takes the crown?

This Sunday, the “Big Brother” Mzansi season 5 winner will be revealed, and they will take home the grand prize while the rest of the housemates get bragging rights for making it to the top five.

As the suspense and excitement build, the public's votes will soon reveal which contestants they are backing.
