It seems South African DJ and producer Prince Kaybee is in his feels while the rest of Mzansi is still coming off the high from Chris Brown’s sold-out concerts at FNB Stadium.

Kaybee couldn’t help but share his thoughts after a video of the packed venue — fitting over 90,000 fans — made the rounds on X (formerly Twitter).

He tweeted: “It’s unfortunate that you start a career and never reach this level. Life is unfair, man.”

But trust Mzansi to make a mountain out of a tweet. Kaybee’s comment sparked mixed reactions, with some seeing his post as a genuine reflection of an artist’s reality, while others weren’t having it.

Some critics accused the “Fetch Your Life” hitmaker of sounding salty, dragging him for always sharing unsolicited thoughts on the success of others.

A few even brought up Cassper Nyovest’s Fill Up FNB Stadium achievement back in 2017, reminding Kaybee that local artists have reached similar heights.

@Bathong_Roli gave some free advice: “Just use this as fuel and motivation. Try it out on your side, people will come. Success or failure, both will bring learnings which helps with improvement.”

@GokuKnocks wrote: “Brother you have been blessed ... there are other artists who wish to be were you are right now ... you got to taste living your dream others will never get that opportunity ... be grateful.”

@hawXli also wrote: “Stop looking with jealousy, and focus on your own path. This is why, you’ll never get ahead. Keep the focus.”

Meanwhile, Nyovest, who’s no stranger to sold-out concerts himself, took to X for a little inspiration.

“I don’t remember the last time there was such a hype of an artist or a concert in South Africa for a long time.

Chris Brown is a star and the catalogue is just second to none. So inspiring to see what hard work and perseverance can build. Wow wow wow!!! Amazing,” the rapper wrote.
