“After much consideration, Anna and I made the most difficult decision of our lives together - to end our marriage. The decision was not taken lightly, but we believe after much time and considering it's best for both of us right now.

“We have shared so many wonderful moments and years together and will always love each other and care. God has blessed us with three beautiful children and they will always be our first priority.”

Bobby and Annatjie maintained that while their relationship has changed they are committed to raising their three children together. They also asked for privacy as they navigate this difficult time and thanked everyone for their support.

“Even though our relationship as a couple changes, we are both committed to raising our children together as friends with the same love they have experienced so far. We are grateful for everyone's love and support.

“We request that we as a family please be respected in this difficult time. So that everyone can go on a path of healing, individually and together.”
