Durban — The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa in KwaZulu-Natal has introduced off-peak trains on the Umlazi corridor from Monday, December 5, 2022.
In a statement, Prasa KZN said it was pleased to inform commuters, the public and all stakeholders of the extension of the train service between Reunion and KwaMnyandu to include an off-peak service from Monday.
“Trains will continue to shuttle commuters from KwaMnyandu to Reunion Station. At Reunion Station, commuters will connect on trains from South Coast to Durban Station. This is a temporary arrangement whilst infrastructure repair works continue,” Prasa KZN said.
Prasa KZN advised commuters to familiarise themselves with the timetable that will be provided at the stations and on Prasa KZN communication platforms.
