“I've got something to tell ya. I've got news for you. Gonna put some wheels in motion. Get ready 'cause we're coming through. Hey now, hey now, hear what I say now…”
The Vengabus is coming – bringing an “inter-city disco” to Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg in December.
Dutch band the Vengaboys will perform at Carnival City in Johannesburg on December 12 and 13, at Grand West Arena in Cape Town on December 14 and at the Boardwalk Casino in Port Elizabeth on December 15.
The formerly-retired group, famous for their late nineties/early noughties hits We Like to Party, Up and Down, We're Going to Ibiza and Boom Boom Boom Boom, recently returned to touring.
The dance-pop group is made up of Denise Post-Van Rijswijk, Kim Sasabone, Robin Pors and Donny Latupeirissa.
Rijswijk has said: "The Vengaboys story was a total adventure. It took us around the world in what seemed like a nonstop fun-fest."
Tickets for the latest edition of the fun-fest cost between R315 and R490 and are available from Computicket.
